Victoria Way

Victoria Way, Woking

Hutley Investments have recently been given planning approval for the construction of a new 18 storey grade ‘A’ office building on the site of Select House and MVA House, both situated on Victoria Way. The development will provide a landmark building with high specification office space for business occupiers.

The office market in Woking is becoming increasingly frustrating for businesses. The lack of good quality space means that businesses have to look outside of the town for modern, quality, fit for purpose office accommodation. Despite this lack of supply, there has been resurgence in demand for town centre accommodation, as opposed to out of town business parks. Victoria Way has created an opportunity to create a landmark mixed-use scheme, not just for Woking but for Surrey as a whole.

Hutley Investments are excited about this opportunity, the development will aim to be the first Excellent BREEAM rated building in the region, utilising the best of sustainable technologies and creating a scheme that the Woking community can be proud of.

Edward Hutley, Director of Hutley Investments Ltd, comments:

“The development market has been on hold since the late 90s but the resurgence in demand for town centre accommodation means that the market in Woking has great potential. I am truly excited by this scheme and the prospect of creating a unique sustainable building that will breathe new life into     Woking’s business community.”

Demolition of the existing properties is due to commence shortly with completion of the new construction expected in early 2010.
